Student Placement Program

Infinity Support Services provides structured student placement opportunities designed to support the next generation of professionals in the disability, Community and mental health sector.

As a registered NDIS provider, we deliver meaningful, supervised placements that bridge the gap between study and real-world practice, helping students build confidence, capability, and career-ready skills.

We partner with universities and TAFEs to create placement experiences that are both structured and flexible, ensuring alignment with course requirements while offering genuine exposure to the sector.

Students gain experience across a variety of areas, including:

• Social Work

• Mental Health

• Community Services

• Disability Support

Throughout their placement, students are actively supported and guided through:

• A tailored placement plan aligned with learning objectives and course requirements

• A structured induction to the organisation, systems, and service environments

• Hands-on, supervised experience across both client support and administrative functions

• Opportunities to work across different teams and departments for a broader understanding of the sector

• Weekly check-ins with dedicated staff to monitor progress, provide feedback, and set development goals

• Support with completing placement documentation, assessments, and university or TAFE requirements

Rather than simply observing, students are encouraged to actively participate, develop skills, and gradually increase independence as their confidence grows.

All students are supported within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, with supervision provided by experienced staff to ensure both quality learning and high standards of care.
