Student Placement Program

Infinity Support Services provides structured student placement opportunities designed to support the next generation of professionals in the disability, Community and mental health sector.

​

As a registered NDIS provider, we deliver meaningful, supervised placements that bridge the gap between study and real-world practice, helping students build confidence, capability, and career-ready skills.

We partner with universities and TAFEs to create placement experiences that are both structured and flexible, ensuring alignment with course requirements while offering genuine exposure to the sector.

Students gain experience across a variety of areas, including:

  • Social Work

  • Mental Health

  • Community Services

  • Disability Support

​

Throughout their placement, students are actively supported and guided through:

  • A tailored placement plan aligned with learning objectives and course requirements

  • A structured induction to the organisation, systems, and service environments

  • Hands-on, supervised experience across both client support and administrative functions

  • Opportunities to work across different teams and departments for a broader understanding of the sector

  • Weekly check-ins with dedicated staff to monitor progress, provide feedback, and set development goals

  • Support with completing placement documentation, assessments, and university or TAFE requirements

Rather than simply observing, students are encouraged to actively participate, develop skills, and gradually increase independence as their confidence grows.

All students are supported within a safe, structured, and nurturing environment, with supervision provided by experienced staff to ensure both quality learning and high standards of care.

Infinity Support Services is proud to partner with ACAP University College as part of our Student Placement Program. ACAP is a specialist higher education provider offering courses across areas including social work, counselling, psychology, and criminology and justice. Through our partnership, ACAP students are provided with meaningful placement opportunities within the disability and community services sector, allowing them to apply their studies in a real-world environment, build practical skills and gain valuable industry experience while being supported by the Infinity team.

Southern Cross Education Institute - Higher Education

Infinity Support Services is proud to partner with Southern Cross Education Institute - Higher Education (SCEI-HE) as part of our Student Placement Program. SCEI-HE is a TEQSA-registered higher education provider offering industry-aligned qualifications across human and community services, social work and education. Through our partnership, SCEI-HE students are provided with meaningful placement opportunities within the disability and community services sector, allowing them to apply their studies in a real-world environment, develop practical skills and gain valuable industry experience while being supported by the Infinity team.

Institute of Health & Management (IHM)

Infinity Support Services is proud to partner with the Institute of Health & Management (IHM) as part of our Student Placement Program. IHM is a TEQSA-registered higher education provider (PRV14040, CRICOS 03407G) with campuses in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth and Online. Part of the HCI Group alongside sister RTO IHNA (RTO 21985, CRICOS 03386G), IHM delivers industry-aligned nursing, social work and human services qualifications and pathways developed with employers and industry.

Through our partnership with IHM, academic rigour meets practical training, supported by dedicated placement opportunities with Infinity Support Services and IHM's national network of partners. Together, we support the development of a reliable pipeline of highly skilled and job-ready talent for organisations facing workforce shortages.
