Through partnerships with employment services, training providers and industry organisations, we combine practical experience, training and ongoing workplace support to create sustainable pathways into the disability sector.

Whether someone is entering the sector through an employment pathway, developing their skills through a traineeship, or starting their journey as a new Infinity employee, our programs are designed to build confidence, capability and long-term career opportunities.

Infinity Support Services works closely with employment service providers, including APM, AXIS, MOVE and other employment partners, to create opportunities for individuals seeking to enter or establish themselves within the disability support sector.

Our Employment Pathways Program supports suitable candidates throughout recruitment, onboarding and their transition into the workplace, with a focus on developing the skills, confidence and practical experience required to provide high-quality, person-centred support.

The program is particularly suited to new and emerging support workers and individuals referred through our employment service partners.

Infinity Support Services works alongside APM to offer a structured Traineeship Program for eligible employees looking to develop their skills, gain a recognised qualification and establish a career within the disability and community services sector.

The program combines formal training with paid, practical workplace experience, allowing trainees to develop their knowledge while applying their learning in a real disability services environment.

Throughout the traineeship, employees receive workplace support and opportunities to develop their confidence, professional capabilities and understanding of person-centred disability support.

Trainees can benefit from:

• Support from experienced Infinity team members

• Development of workplace, communication and industry-specific skills

Our Traineeship Program provides another pathway for people to enter the disability sector while gaining both the practical experience and formal skills needed to build a sustainable career.
Supporting our people from their very first day.
Starting a new role can involve learning new environments, participants, processes and responsibilities. Our Peer Mentorship & Support Program provides new Infinity employees with an additional layer of support as they settle into their roles.

Through the program, new employees are connected with an experienced Infinity team member who can act as an informal point of contact during the early stages of their employment.

Peer mentors can share their workplace knowledge and experience, provide practical guidance, answer general questions and help new employees feel connected to the wider Infinity team.

New employees can benefit from:

• An additional point of contact within the organisation

• Informal guidance from an experienced colleague

• Practical knowledge and experience sharing

• Support navigating a new workplace and role

• Greater connection with colleagues and the broader Infinity team

The program complements Infinity's existing induction, training, supervision and management processes.

Peer mentorship is an additional workplace support initiative rather than a formal supervisory role. It encourages experienced team members to share their knowledge and contribute to a supportive and collaborative workplace culture.
